Balsamic Vinegar
1/3 Cup
Soy Sauce

1/3 Cup
Olive Oil
1/4 Cup + 1 tsp
Brown sugar
Or 1 1/2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp
Worchestershire Sauce
2-3 tsp
Garlic Powder
Or 2 cloves, minced
2 tsp
Mustard Powder
1 tsp
Thyme, dried
Or Italian seasoning
1 tsp
Instructions
Process
1) Preheat oven to 250° F
2) Add 1 tsp of olive oil to baking pan and spread on sides of pan with a paper towel. This helps keep the sides easier to clean.
3) Wisk together remaining ingredients in a medium bowl.
4) Pour half of mixture into baking pan and add pork.
5) Pour remainder of mixture over pork.
6) Bake in oven for 3 hours. If you remember, flip pork once after half of the time has elapsed.
7) When time is up, remove from pan and shred with a fork. You can add the pork back into the juices from the pan if you'd like, just be aware this will add a lot of saltiness.
8) Add BBQ sauce or whatever you would like. Enjoy on buns, tortillas or make some killer nachos!
Additional Notes:
If you plan ahead I suggest letting the meat marinate in this mixture for a few hours, up to a day before putting in the oven. It helps the flavor absorb.
